About

Some of you reading this already know me to some extent or another. However, I have some new readers, and hope to garner more in the future, so hopefully this information will prove to be insightful. Of course, this blog is just as much for my own therapeutic reasons as anything else. If people happen to find what I have to say worthwhile, that’s peachy too. Should you ever feel inclined to speak your mind, feel free to do so. Discussion is always welcome.

Sadly, my real name is not Trevorsaurus. As amazing as that would be, you have likely deduced by now that it is actually Trevor. Thankfully, the magic of the internet allows me to live out my ancient reptilian surname fantasies.

The car I love and drive is entirely Japanese, but I only managed to be a half-breed Italian. You can blame the genes, but at least they aren’t Wranglers. I despise those with a fiery passion. The other largest portion of my being is Norwegian, though I’m no viking. A mixture of other ethnicities are in there too, but I don’t keep track beyond those previously mentioned.

I take interest in a great number of things, and as many friends would likely argue, the number of said things is too large. Photography and literature top the list, although ironically, I have been engaging in those hobbies the least as of late. I enjoy cars, and my favorite one is my own. Perhaps I’m biased, but given the time and money put into it, it’s only fitting that I occasionally refer to it as my girlfriend. I send postcards to random people around the world, have created (and used) signs that read “free hugs,” was on stage at Cirque du Soleil, and even managed to fall off of a cliff.

When I’m not busy tumbling down the faces of cliffs, I keep myself distracted with school and work. I’m a full time student at San Jose State University majoring in Communication Studies. Age-wise, I’m behind the traditional college curve, and am older than most of my classmates. I worked for a few years after high school before entering college. However, I’m making progress and that’s important.

I work at a grocery store, and in fact, some of you reading this know me because of this. I have been with the company for over eight years now, so I’m a fixture of sorts. Most of the time, I find my work enjoyable, as I like having the ability to interact with a large variety of people. It’s interesting to see some of these people as often as I do, and even seeing their kids get bigger, which makes me feel old. Granted, I’d rather not see some of them at all, but that’s another story. I’m not inclined to complain that much about my job, since most of the clientele are normal people, and the ones that aren’t just give me interesting stories to share. Some of these are passed along in my blog.

So, welcome to my blog. It will serve as the depository for my meandering thoughts and observations. Anything is fair game. There will be occasional photos and videos, in addition to the customary written entries. I try to write at least a few times a week. If you ever have something to say, feel free to leave a comment.
